The Symbio® Starter Kit includes a selection of three Atelier Récifal® products: Bacto-Symbio®, Faune+ Symbio®, and Symbio® Probiotics.

Bacto-Symbio® is a product made from a highly concentrated blend of 8 marine bacterial strains, a combination of bio-enzymes and ribozyme biomolecules, vitamins B12, D, and D3, and unsaturated omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Bacto-Symbio®’s unique formula was developed to strengthen the bacterial support of live rock, helping build optimal biological filtration and bringing perfect balance to your reef aquarium ecosystem. By promoting the conversion of organic matter into biomass—consumed by microphagous filter feeders and microfauna—and helping eliminate unwanted algae in your reef tank, Bacto-Symbio® is the ideal supplement to bring vitality and energy to your fish and corals thanks to its vitamins B12, D, D3, and unsaturated omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids.

Faune+ Symbio® is a product made from a unique blend of 8 marine bacterial strains and bio-enzymes, specially selected for their ability to trigger the growth of rich, diverse microfauna and macrofauna in your reef aquarium. Highly concentrated in live marine microorganisms and enriched with finely micronized zooplankton and phytoplankton from marine biotechnology, plus proteins and vitamins A, B1, B12, D3, and E, Faune+ Symbio® strengthens the bacterial support of live rock, helping boost bacterial colonies and develop optimal biological filtration.

Symbio® Probiotics is a product made from a highly concentrated blend of 3 probiotic marine bacteria, specially selected for their ability to convert organic matter into biomass—an optimal food source for corals, sponges, microphagous filter feeders, and for the development of microfauna and macrofauna. By increasing antibody production and supporting osmoregulation (the ability of marine organisms to regulate internal fluids), Symbio® Probiotics boosts the vitality and immune system of all fish and invertebrates in your reef aquarium, helping intensify their colors.
This blend of 3 live probiotic bacterial strains was also developed to significantly reduce the buildup of organic sediment in the sand and live rock, strengthening the tank’s different bacterial supports. Optimal shelf life: In addition to enabling precise control of bacterial concentration and preserving all the benefits and core qualities of live marine bacteria and marine microorganisms, freeze-drying also lets us offer products that keep perfectly—even after opening—for 24 months, with no loss of effectiveness.

Dosage & usage tips

Weekly dosage:
– 40 to 250 liters: Faune+ Symbio® 4 ml – (2 spoons) / Bacto-Symbio® 4 ml – (2 spoons)
– 260 to 500 liters: Faune+ Symbio® 6 ml – (3 spoons) / Bacto-Symbio® 6 ml – (3 spoons)
– 510 to 1000 liters: Faune+ Symbio® 8 ml – (4 spoons) / Bacto-Symbio® 8 ml – (4 spoons)

Pour Faune+ Symbio® and Bacto-Symbio® into the aquarium near a high-flow area. Turn off the protein skimmer and UV filter, and remove activated carbon for at least 1 hour.

– 5 liters of prepared seawater: Symbio® Probiotics 2 ml (1 spoon)
– 10 liters of prepared seawater: Symbio® Probiotics 4 ml (2 spoons)
– 20 liters of prepared seawater: Symbio® Probiotics 8 ml (4 spoons)

Symbio® Probiotics is used during your seawater changes. Add 2 ml of product per 5 liters of prepared seawater at the same time as the salt.

Best-before date

The freeze-drying process for live marine bacteria and marine microorganisms allows us to offer products that keep perfectly for 24 months, with no loss of effectiveness. The high-quality HDPE plastic jars ensure optimal storage and ease of use.
