The No3/Po4 Symbio® Kit is composed of a selection of two Atelier Récifal® products, namely No3/Po4 Symbio® and Bacto-Symbio®.

No3/Po4 Symbio® is a product featuring a unique formula of 5 marine bacterial strains, combined with a set of bio-enzymes and organic carbon, specifically selected for their ability to eliminate nitrates and phosphates in your reef aquarium. By transforming these into biomass, an optimal nutritional source for corals, sponges, microphagous filter feeders, as well as for the development of microfauna and macrofauna, No3/Po4 Symbio® provides an effective, natural, and rapid solution to regulate the nitrate and phosphate levels in your reef aquarium.

Bacto-Symbio® is a product composed of a highly concentrated blend of 8 marine bacterial strains, an association of bio-enzymes and ribozyme biomolecules, vitamins B12, D, D3, and unsaturated omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. The unique formula of Bacto-Symbio® has been developed to strengthen the bacterial support of live rocks, allowing for optimal biological filtration and thus offering a perfect balance to your reef aquarium’s ecosystem. By promoting the transformation of organic matter into biomass, consumed by microphagous filter feeders and microfauna, and ensuring the elimination of undesirable algae present in your reef aquarium, Bacto-Symbio® is the ideal supplement that will provide, thanks to its blend of vitamins B12, D, D3, and unsaturated omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, vitality and energy to your fish and corals.

Treatment Duration

NITRATE LEVELS (No3)
From 15 mg/l to 50 mg/l of No3: Significant decrease of 45% per week.
From 50 mg/l to 100 mg/l of No3: Significant decrease of 35% per week.
From 100 mg/l to +100 mg/l of No3: Significant decrease of 30% per week.

PHOSPHATE LEVELS (Po4)
From 0.15 mg/l to 0.4 mg/l of Po4: Significant decrease of 45% per week.
From 0.4 mg/l to 1 mg/l of Po4: Significant decrease of 35% per week.
From 1 mg/l to +1 mg/l of Po4: Significant decrease of 30% per week.

Dosage & Usage Tips

Weekly dosage:
– From 40 to 250 liters: No3/Po4 Symbio® 4 ml – (2 spoons) / Bacto-Symbio® 4 ml – (2 spoons)
– From 260 to 500 liters: No3/Po4 Symbio® 8 ml – (4 spoons) / Bacto-Symbio® 6 ml – (3 spoons)
– From 510 to 1000 liters: No3/Po4 Symbio® 14 ml – (7 spoons) / Bacto-Symbio® 8 ml – (4 spoons)

Pour No3/Po4 Symbio® and Bacto-Symbio® into the aquarium, near a circulation area. Turn off the skimmer for a minimum of 1 hour. Stop the UV filter and remove activated carbon for the duration of the treatment.
