Article 1 – Scope

  • These general terms and conditions of sale, also referred to as the “T”, apply to all orders placed on the website “https://atelier-recifal.fr”. These general terms and conditions of sale are also available as a PDF.
  • The website “https://atelier-recifal.fr” is written exclusively in French. The registered office is located in Cessy – 01170 – Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, and is registered with the Bourg-en-Bresse Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
  • Any order placed on the site implies prior consultation of these terms and conditions. Therefore, the consumer is fully aware that no signature is required to accept these general terms and conditions of sale.

Article 2 – Definitions

The terms used below have, in these general terms and conditions of sale, the following meaning:

  • “Site”: The website “https://atelier-recifal.fr” and all of its pages.
  • “Products”: All products that can be purchased or subscribed to on the site.
  • “Seller”: Atelier Récifal®, a legal entity or individual, offering its products on the site.
  • “Customer”: The internet user, private individual or professional, purchasing product(s) on the site.
  • “Consumer”: As defined in the French Consumer Code: “Any natural person acting for purposes that do not fall within the scope of their commercial, industrial, craft, or self-employed activity”.

Article 3 – Prices Rates

  • All prices for our products are indicated in euros. Value-added tax (VAT) does not apply. Atelier Récifal® reserves the right to change prices at any time. Products will be invoiced based on the rates in effect at the time the order is confirmed, subject to stock availability at that time.
  • Gift vouchers cannot be combined with each other or with other current promotions. To use a gift voucher, simply go to the “My cart” section and enter your voucher in the space provided.

Article 4 – Secure Payment

  • The order amount is due on the exact date the order is placed. We accept payments by bank card via the secure Payplug payment platform.
  • All Carte Bleue payments are secured thanks to our partner Payplug and the SSL security certificate, which is used to encrypt data. Payment can be made by card: Visa, MasterCard, or Carte Bleue. The 100% secure SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connection guarantees the integrity of the transmission of your bank card data. All you have to do is enter the requested information with peace of mind. If your information is correct, you will receive an email confirming that the payment has been validated. Your order will then be shipped by our team as quickly as possible.

Article 5 – Delivery

  • Delivery fees, also called shipping costs, are indicated to the customer when paying for the order. They are free for any order of €49 or more.
  • Average delivery times are between 48 and 72 hours after the order is placed on our site. For simplicity, the parcel will be delivered to your mailbox, with no signature required. Delivery times are not guaranteed, and we cannot be held liable in the event of an issue with the carrier (Colissimo for France, Delivengo for Switzerland, Belgium, and Luxembourg). If delivery times exceed 4 days for any reason, please contact our customer service so that a solution can be found.
  • For any complaint regarding a product that does not match the order, the customer must submit a request to our customer service on the day of delivery or, at the latest, the following day. Any complaint made after this period will be rejected, to help prevent false claims.
  • If they wish, the customer may provide a billing address different from the delivery address. To do so, they simply need to fill in the field provided for this purpose during the checkout process.

Article 6 – Use of Products

  • All products offered for sale by Atelier Récifal® are the result of extensive research and testing, developed through collaborations with French laboratories specializing in marine bacteriology and microbiology. This allows us to offer you a range of products of impeccable quality. However, despite all the care taken, Atelier Récifal® cannot be held responsible for any misuse by the customer, such as overdosing. Therefore, we cannot be held liable for any damage to your aquarium. It is important to read the instructions for our products before use.
  • The customer can find usage advice directly on the product packaging. In particular, the recommended dosage according to tank size will be indicated. For more information or any other questions regarding the use of our products, the customer can contact our customer service.

Article 8 – Right of Withdrawal

  • The customer has fourteen business days from the delivery date of their order to withdraw and return the product at their own expense. They must return any product that does not suit them or is not compliant and request a full refund. This right of withdrawal may be exercised without penalty, except for return shipping costs. The product must be returned in perfect condition, unused, and with the opening “tab” still present on the jar. The refund will be made using the same payment method chosen by the customer when placing the order. For more information, please refer to Article L121-20-12 regarding the right of withdrawal.

Article 9 – Intellectual Property

  • All texts, comments, illustrations, photographs, and blog articles on the website “https://atelier-recifal.fr” are protected by copyright and intellectual property rights.
  • This website uses elements (images and photographs) credited to: pixabay.
  • The trademarks and logos contained on the site may be registered by Atelier Récifal®.
  • Under Article L.713-2 of the French Intellectual Property Code, any reproduction of our site, even partial, is strictly prohibited. To use our photographs or images, please request authorization from our customer service.

Article 10 – Personal Data

  • All personal data concerning our customers is stored and processed with the strictest confidentiality. When making purchases, the customer is only asked for the information necessary to ensure the proper processing of their order. Under no circumstances do we sell or market this information to third parties. In accordance with Article 34 of the French Data Protection Act (Informatique et Libertés) of January 6, 1978, the customer has the right to delete and rectify, in whole or in part, the data concerning them.
